Why I built The Latch Edit
The Latch Edit started when I became a mom and realized I couldn't shop at any of my favorite brands anymore.
I was heading back to work, and I needed clothes that could keep up. I wanted cute, stylish tops I could pump in between meetings, and a dress I could nurse in at a restaurant without a full wardrobe change. On the go, with a baby, nothing in my closet passed the test.
So I searched for nursing clothes, and I found plenty of brands that make them. The problem was that I had never heard of most of those brands. I didn't know their sizing, their fit, or their quality, and I didn't have the energy to gamble on returns while keeping a small human alive.
Here is the part that frustrated me most. The clothes I wanted already existed at the brands I already trusted. Boden makes button-front dresses. Athleta makes ribbed tanks with real stretch. Madewell makes wrap tops. None of them are labeled for nursing, so no filter on any of those sites could surface them for me.
The Latch Edit is the filter I wished I had. It searches the brands you already know for pieces that happen to work beautifully for nursing and pumping, and every item carries a Latch Score from moms who have actually worn them. There are no new size charts to learn and no quality gambles, just your style, made feedable.
